Chris Gousios notched the first goal with 19:06 left in the first half while Paolo Sespene recorded the game-winner. Riley Jensen turned away 5 shots on goal for the Rockets.

Crystal Lake South 7, Grayslake Central 2: Charlie Oliver recorded a hat trick while Manny Trujillo (2 goals), Alvaro Morales, and Roberto Albuquerque found the back of the net to lead the Gators (4-2) to a 7-2 victory.

Huntley 2, Woodstock 1: Lucas Baker and Sean Tlapek each scored a goal to lead the Red Raiders (4-1-2) to a 2-1 win over Woodstock.

Romeoville Christian 3, Harvest Christian Academy 2: The Lions netted a goal each from Chris Desouza and Dan Turpin, but fell 3-2. Pat McGuire recorded 5 saves in goal.

Santiago Guerrero and Javy Delgado combined for 7 saves for the Royals. Larkin will play either Oswego or Wheaton Warrenville South in Thursday’s second round.
