Job fair for veterans at CLC

A job resource fair for veterans will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 20 at the College of Lake County conference room, 1120 S. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills. Hosted by state Rep. Carol Sente, the fair will provide information on what jobs are available at state agencies for veterans, how to earn Veterans Preference Points for employment, how to apply for a commercial drivers license to drive state trucks and where to take the Illinois Civil Service exam, for example.
