Elmhurst Choral Union to hold auditions Jan. 28

It's not too late to make a happy resolution - get back to singing. Discover the excitement of performing with the Elmhurst Choral Union, accompanied by a full professional orchestra.

Singers interested in challenging their vocal skills and giving high-quality concerts are invited to audition.

Upcoming concert music includes Mozart's "Coronation Mass" on Sunday, April 26.

Singers also will be eligible to join the chorus in a performing tour to Salzburg in 2020.

Membership is open to singers with previous choral experience or the ability to read music. Auditions involve a vocal warm-up and a song of the singer's choice.

To reserve an audition appointment on Tuesday evening, Jan. 28, leave a message at (630) 758-1100 or through the contact page at elmhurstchoralunion.org.

A volunteer will respond to schedule an audition time.

Rehearsals begin Tuesday evening, Feb. 4, in Irion Hall, room 200, on the campus of Elmhurst College, 190 S. Prospect Ave.

Elmhurst Choral Union is an outstanding volunteer chorus, performing classical masterworks and great choral music of all eras with professional orchestra and soloists.
