New nature photo club starts Sept. 13

The Morton Arboretum Photography Society is a new nature photography club sponsored by the Morton Arboretum in Lisle.

Everyone is invited to its first meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 in the Thornhill Education Center, located on the west side of the Morton Arboretum, 4100 Route 53 in Lisle.

The guest speaker, Ken Thompson, will share his techniques for photographing insects in the field.

You will also learn more about MAPS and about future meetings.
