COD maintains enrollment:

College of DuPage officials say their 7.5 percent enrollment increase remained steady after the first 10 days of classes at the Glen Ellyn school. COD enrolled 16,036 full-time students for the fall semester. That was the number targeted by college officials and important because that is the figure reported to the state for funding purposes. College officials credited increased marketing, additional online courses and delayed-start sessions for the rise in enrollment figures. The souring economy and spike in unemployment also were cited as reasons for increased enrollment.
