Veteran Resource and Job Fair set for Oct. 24 at ECC

The Veteran Resource and Job Fair will feature more than 25 employers and dozens of resource and family service organizations from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, in the Jobe Lounge, Building B, at Elgin Community College, 1700 Spartan Drive. It is a free event and all are welcome. Dress to impress and bring plenty of resumes.

Eligible veterans will be able to get the "Veteran" designation on their driver's license/state ID card, as well as get a flu shot from the VA. Many other resources and veteran-friendly employers will be on-site. For details, call (630) 232-3550.

The Veteran Resource and Job Fair is produced in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Employment Security, Veterans Assistance Commission of Kane County, Office of Community Reinvestment/Workforce Development Division and ECC's Veteran Services Office.
