CLC holds reception Jan. 17 to open Members Exhibition

A Members Exhibition, featuring a diverse collection of 87 artworks by artist members of the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art, will open at the College of Lake County Friday, Jan. 17, and run through Feb. 23.

The exhibit will kick off with a reception for the artists from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 17 in the gallery on CLC’s Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St.

The opening night reception, which is free and open to the public, will include refreshments and musical entertainment by Jazz Beaucoup. During the reception, gift items in Artcetera, the gallery’s sales shop, will be discounted 10 percent.

Members of the Friends of the Gallery will receive an additional 10 percent off items purchased during the reception.

The Robert T. Wright Gallery’s Artist Membership program helps to support the gallery and promotes opportunities for local artists. The $30 annual membership fee entitles each artist to be included in the Annual Members Exhibition in January/February, as well as other benefits.
