University Center open house

The University Center of Lake County hosts an open house on Thursday, March 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at its Grayslake facility, 1200 University Center Drive. Visitors can learn about more than 100 degree and certificate programs and meet university program representatives. The University Center offers programs from 20 Illinois colleges and universities designed to enable adult students to further their education without a lengthy or costly commute. Classes meet in the evening and on weekends at facilities in Grayslake and Waukegan, and at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in North Chicago. Other classes meet via online study.
