CLC spring enrollment:

On the opening day of classes, enrollment in college-level courses for the 2013 Spring Semester was up 3.7 percent from last spring, College of Lake County President Jerry Weber reported to trustees during a board meeting this week. Classes began on Tuesday with head count in college-level courses, such as those leading to a degree or certificate, at 15,141. Total enrollment, which includes adult education, was 17,849. Weber said the numbers won’t be official until the 10th day of classes when a report is filed with the Illinois Community College Board.
