On Saturday, Sept. 29, the Latino Coalition of Lake County hosted a Scholarship Award Ceremony to present grants to six college students from the Waukegan area. The event was held at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. This year's scholarships were granted by Midwest Generation's Waukegan Generating Station.
