College of Lake County's part-time faculty has a new union contract. CLC board trustees at a recent meeting approved a three-year deal with the adjunct faculty. Officials said the contract was culmination of a negotiation process that began in November 2011. Adjunct faculty will receive a 2.5 percent increase in each of the three years covered by the contract, which began Aug. 18 and runs through the end of the 2014-15 academic year. The part-time employees, who are represented by the Adjunct Faculty Organization Local 504 IFT-AFT/AFL-CIO, approved the contract on Aug. 18.
