A workshop for landscape companies, turf managers, homeowner associations and municipalities will be offered 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at College of Lake County. Learn how to implement cost-effective sustainable landscaping programs in your community by learning about natural lawn care, implementing a natural lawn care program, contracts, greening your ordinances and creating a rain-friendly landscape. Fee is $25 for the public and free for current CLC students. Event will be held in the C Wing Auditorium (room C005) at College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake.
