Stars, Stripes & Steps: 8 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at Mount St. Mary's Park, off Route 31, St. Charles. Celebrate America’s 250th birthday and show your patriotic pride by wearing red, white and blue for this untimed 2.5-mile walk winding through the park and nearby neighborhoods along the Fox River. $25 for ages 12 or older.
