Registration opens for McHenry County Bicycle Club's 35th annual Udder Century

The McHenry County Bicycle Club is opening registration for its 35th annual Udder Century Invitational on Dec. 1.

The ride will take place on Sunday, June 4, 2017.

Bicycle enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels are invited to this Bike Invitational to pedal (and steer … ) along flat to rolling rural routes through the scenic dairy lands of Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Start and end your ride at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

Choose the route that fits your riding style: 31, 50, 63, 76 or 100 miles. After the ride, enjoy a gourmet pasta dinner catered by Maravela's Catering, served from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Register early and save at active.com or www.mchenrybicycleclub.org. Cost is $30 from Dec. 1-31; $35 from Jan. 1 to Feb. 28; $40 from March 1 to April 30; or $45 from May 1 to June 2. Cost for children, age 6-12, is $10; children 5 and under are free.

New in 2017 will be 35th anniversary Udder Century T-shirts. For details, see online registration.
