COD decisions cost we, the taxpayers
After local building authorities ordered a shutdown of construction at the College of DuPage, its President-for-Life responded by ordering the workers to ignore the orders. He says he will pay their fines.
But he will pay them using money from us taxpayers, just as the increased annual costs the Peoples Republic of the College of DuPage will incur by seceding from Glen Ellyn will by paid by the taxpayers of DuPage County.
Will other authorities intervene to suppress the rebellion and defiance of the law? When will the Daily Herald take an editorial stand? How do we taxpayers secede from paying for the Peoples Republic of the College of DuPage?
