Candidate shows passion, leadership

I am writing to endorse the candidacy of Erin Birt for College of DuPage Trustee in the April 5 election. I have known her professionally and personally for over five years.

Professionally, Erin is an outstanding family law practice attorney with an impeccable reputation within the legal community. Her practice focuses on collaboration and mediation between the parties, a skill set that will serve her well on the COD board of trustees.

Personally, Erin has always demonstrated her passion for education, throughout her undergraduate and graduate academic pursuits. A former student at COD, Erin is familiar with the campus, the school and the challenges facing COD.

Finally, as a former school board member in Glen Ellyn Elementary District 89 and former Wheaton City Councilman, I can attest that Erin has all the qualities of both a community servant and leader.
