Elmhurst Choral Union and Orchestra: The Many Moods of Christmas

Elmhurst Choral Union and Orchestra present The Many Moods of Christmas on Sunday, December 3 at 3:00 p.m. in Hammerschmidt Chapel on the campus of Elmhurst College.

Conductor Scott Uddenberg leads the ensemble in John Rutter's dynamic Gloria, choral legend Robert Shaw's four imaginative suites of Christmas carols, The Many Moods of Christmas, and more.

John Rutter's popular choral music reflects both the English cathedral choir traditions and American-influenced ideas about melodies.

Robert Shaw was best known as conductor of the Atlanta Symphony, and creator of the Robert Shaw Chorale.

Concert tickets are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and $10 for youth (7-22). Tickets are available from elmhurstchoralunion.org , 800-838-3006, or at the door.
