DuPage County Stormwater Management seeks input

West Chicago, Illinois: March 5, 2013 - DuPage County Stormwater Management is encouraging DuPage County residents and business owners to complete a survey regarding water quality in the County's waterways. The survey asks respondents to assess how likely they to incorporate habits into their lives in order to improve water quality, as well as what their motivating factors are.

The County will use the responses as a basis for a public outreach campaign to educate the DuPage County community about stormwater best management practices. The goal of the campaign will be to reduce nonpoint source pollution in stormwater runoff reaching DuPage County streams and rivers in order to improve the health of the waterways for aquatic life and recreational use. All DuPage County residents and business owners are encouraged to participate.

For more information, or questions about the survey, please contact DuPage County Stormwater Management's Outreach Coordinator Mary Mitros at (630) 407-6706. The survey may be accessed through the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DuPageCountySWM
