Prospect wins Chicagoland Marching Band fest

The 45th annual Chicagoland Marching Band Festival was held Saturday at Wheeling High School, with 28 of the area’s top high school marching bands performing and vying for awards. Prospect High School was named Grand Champion for its show, ”To the Moon and Back,” which also got them the grand champion trophy at the Lancer Joust a week before. Here’s how the schools finished in their respective classes, along with individual awards they won.

Class 1A:
