DuPage Foundation hosts virtual benefit celebration Nov. 13

The stars are aligned for a virtual celebration of philanthropy as DuPage Foundation hosts its annual benefit "A Starry Night in DuPage" on Saturday, Nov. 13.

This year's benefit is being offered in a virtual hybrid format, with both fully-remote and small in-person watch party options available, depending on individuals' preferences. Participants will tune into a brief program beginning at 7:30 p.m. and can participate in a live paddle raise where donations totaling up to $50,000 will be generously matched dollar for dollar.

Among the selection of catered cuisine, the foundation is offering a DuPage Delights Box for two, filled with curated food and wine from local small businesses. Participants hosting home watch parties for up to 10 guests can choose from an appetizer, dessert, and wine package or a four-course meal with wine. All of these selections will be delivered to participating homes before the program begins.

A silent auction featuring an array of unique items and experiences opens for bidding on Oct. 30. Anyone interested can view the collection and register to bid at dupagefoundation.org/StarryNight.

"As DuPage Foundation's premier event, our Annual Benefit raises critical funding in support of our operations and programs so we can continue raising the quality of life throughout DuPage County," said Dave McGowan, DuPage Foundation president and CEO. "If you haven't yet been introduced to the Foundation, joining us for the Benefit is a great way to learn about the impact we have on our local communities. Thank you to all of our event sponsors, including our premier event sponsor, Northern Trust, and to our paddle matching sponsors, DuPage Medical Group (now known as Duly Health and Care), Earl and Kay Harbaugh, and Joe and Amy Weidenbach."

Tickets start at $100 per device. For event information and ways to participate, visit dupagefoundation.org/StarryNight. For questions or to donate auction items, please contact Kait Balsewicz, development officer, at 630.598.5292 or kait@dupagefoundation.org.
