Teen PhilanthroParty offers DuPage teens a chance to connect virtually and make changes

The DuPage County Prevention Leadership Team (PLT) and Reality Illinois Teen Advisory Board will be hosting the fourth annual Teen PhilanthroParty on June 15, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. via Zoom. This PhilanthroParty is a party with a purpose and an opportunity for high school-aged teens in DuPage County to connect and make positive changes in their community.

The annual Teen PhilanthroParty is generally held in person to kick off the Reality Teen Advisory Board's weekly summer meeting series.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this will be the second year that the event will be held virtually via Zoom, with the theme being "Get Motivated to Make Change and Have a Fun Summer!" The weekly summer meeting series will take place in person while practicing COVID-19 safety precautions.

This year's PhilanthroParty will feature guest speakers Matt Matkovich and Phil Januszewski of M&P Productions. Matt and Phil are a nationally known motivational speaking duo who are high-energy cultivators of confidence. Matt and Phil bring an entertaining, energetic, and sincere presentation that blends the overall "M&P Recipe" for a happy and healthy life. Teens who attend this year's PhilanthroParty should be prepared to laugh, move, and be reminded of the simple points of focus in life that can make all our lives more meaningful, fulfilled, and fun.

The first 20 teens to register for this event will receive Bluetooth headphones. Additionally, all teens who attend will be entered into a raffle to win prizes. Teens who wear Tie-Dye to the event will be entered into the raffle twice! Teens can register for the Teen PhilanthroParty at bit.ly/3tbk5ou.
