Montini Catholic High School to offer fall open houses

Montini Catholic High School in Lombard is hosting several opportunities for prospective families to visit the campus and gather information to help them with their high school decisions.

This year, the Lasallian preparatory school is offering two open house events and is also opening their doors for visits in several ways.

Parents and students interested in learning about a Catholic education at Montini Catholic are invited to join them for one or all of these informational events. Registration is required for all events. Families may register at www.montini.org (click on 'Schedule Your Visit').

There will be two open house opportunities: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7.

Also, Shadow Days give students an inside look at the day in the life of a Bronco. They are available Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to noon. Space is limited due to COVID regulations so families are encouraged to apply now.

Personal tours are available on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"Meet Montini Mornings" are informal information sessions with the administration and admissions team. These events include a tour of the school while classes are in session. Two more sessions are available this fall: on Tuesday, Oct. 5, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Montini Catholic offers academic scholarships to incoming freshmen taking their placement exam, held on Dec. 4. Students can earn up to $10,000 toward their high school education. Scholarships (ranging from $1,000 to $2,500) are based on a student's national ranking of the placement exam and are renewable for four years.

Other scholarship opportunities can be explored by visiting the school's website: www.montini.org/admissions.
