Benedictine University hosts Heritage Lecture with author Nicole Sotelo Feb. 25

Benedictine University Heritage Lecture will feature "All Should Rise Together: Community, Trauma, and What Holds Us Together" with author Nicole Sotelo on Thursday, Feb. 25.

The virtual program, hosted by the Office of University Mission, will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Register via the university's online calendar at www.ben.edu/calendar/index.cfm.

Nicole Sotelo is the author of "Women Healing from Abuse: Meditations for Finding Peace" (Paulist Press) and "Pray Your Way Through Forgiveness" (Twenty-Third Publications). She is the communications coordinator for the Sheil Catholic Center at Northwestern University in Evanston. She has a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. Before joining the Sheil Center, she served in Catholic communications ministry, writing an award-winning column for the National Catholic Reporter and working for Catholic nonprofits, including St. Scholastica Monastery, a Benedictine community of women religious in Chicago. Her work concentrates on supporting Catholic women abuse survivors (womenhealing.com).
