KidsMatter, Team B2B to host 'Empower' gala Sept. 14

On Saturday, Sept. 14, KidsMatter and Team B2B (the Naperville Chamber Business to Business) will partner to bring you "Empower," the annual gala focused on the needs of children, teens, and young adults in DuPage and Will counties. It will be 6 to 11 p.m. at White Eagle Golf Club, 3400 Club Drive in Naperville.

This year's fun-filled evening will follow the theme of the game of "Life," a game that ties directly into the group's mission to build resilient kids who say "no" to destructive choices and "yes" to endless possibilities.

The gala will feature hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, a live and silent auction, dinner during the main program, a paddle-raise, and dancing to the sounds of the band Trés Moustache, but the true highlight of our evening will be the youth that KidsMatter supports.

Local students will display and demonstrate a variety of their skills during the event's reception, immediately prior to the main program.
