COD's 'Images' highlights commencement, Outstanding Faculty Member

“Images,” College of DuPage's monthly one-half hour television show, features in its June/July edition segments on the College's 44th annual commencement ceremony and the 2010-2011 Overall Outstanding Faculty Member, Michelle Moore, Ph.D.

Each month, Images highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.

The June/July Images highlights the College's 44th Annual Commencement Ceremony. A celebration of the achievements of the 2011 class, the ceremony included comments from College President Dr. Robert L. Breuder, Board Chairman David Carlin and this year's Outstanding Students Matthew Brousil of Brookfield and Lisa LaRose of Wheaton.

The June/July Images also features a segment on 2010-2011 Overall Outstanding Faculty Member Michelle Moore, Ph.D. A COD English professor, Moore reflects on the College's diverse student population, COD's wealth of resources and her techniques for inspiring students.

Also featured are segments on the College's recent partnership with Tom Dentice and Ed Rensi, co-founders of Tom and Eddie's. The two restaurateurs partnered with the COD's Culinary & Hospitality program to help develop their menu. They discuss the value of the collaboration and the importance of recruiting COD students for their staff.

Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
