COD holds Career Exploration Workshop March 1

Representatives from College of DuPage Counseling Services, the Library and Career Services will host a Career Exploration Workshop at COD from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, in the library, SRC 2650.

This program is free and open to the public.

This workshop will help recently unemployed adults learn about resume writing, job search techniques, interviewing strategies and Library resources that will assist them in finding a job.

Participants will also take an interest inventory to see how their interests compare with individuals who have worked in diverse fields and are happy with their career choices. Participants will also take a career interest inventory.

“Through this inventory, individuals often discover there are careers out there they didn't know about that are interesting to them,” said COD Counselor Sandy Werner.
