COD hosts Diversity Business Conference Feb. 24

College of DuPage will host a “Diversity Business Conference” from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24 in the Student Resource Center, Room 2800. This event is free and open to the public.

Sponsored by COD Business Solutions, the Center for Entrepreneurship, DuPage County NAACP and Homelife Radio Show, the program will include presentations provided by experts in the College's Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Illinois Small Business Development Center, and Illinois International Trade Center.

Topics will include: "Process, Possibilities and Profits"; "Government Contracting;" "Access to Capital;" "Should Your Company Be Exporting?" and "Hire a Marketing Manager – You!"

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and meet with COD's purchasing manager. In addition, attendees will receive a 30-day login for one free Small Business Success digital training session on “Strategic Partnership for Business Growth.”

Wayne Messmer, host of Homelife Radio on WIND-AM 560 and “the voice of Chicago,” will also be on hand to meet with participants.
