COD preschool has openings for 2011-12

The College of DuPage Early Childhood Education and Development Center has openings for its part-time preschool program for the upcoming 2011-12 school year.

The program for 3-year-olds meets 8:45 to 11:15 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays.

A mixed-age preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds meets 8:45 to 11:15 a.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

A program for 4-year-olds is offered from 1:15 to 3:45 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays.

To enroll, a child must be 3 years old by Sept. 1 for the 3-year-old class and 4 years old by Sept. 1 for the 4-year-old class. The classes are limited to 10 students.

All classes are taught by degreed early childhood teachers and meet in the College's Early Childhood Center on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

The 2011-12 school year starts Monday, Aug. 22.
