Nuclear medicine program receives continued accreditation

The Nuclear Medicine program at College of DuPage has received continued accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

This designation extends the accreditation for COD's program for another seven years through 2017.

“We continuously strive to exceed the standards and essentials of the JRCNMT,” said Joanne Metler, professor and coordinator of the Nuclear Medicine program. “However, this could not be done without the continuous support of College of DuPage and the 22 clinical affiliates. Our clinical affiliates, which encompass six districts across the state of Illinois, deserve recognition for our continued accreditation, as well as for continuously producing truly professional nuclear medicine technologists.”
