COD football players named All Conference

Nine College of DuPage players have been named all-conference after the team's strong 7-5 season.

Coached by Fred Fimbres, the team recently completed its season with a 20-14 victory over Coffeyville Community College in the Graphic Edge Bowl, held Nov. 21 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Players named to the first all-conference team are sophomore linebacker Terran Buck (West Aurora High School), sophomore kicker Cory Kemps (Carmel High School, Indiana) and sophomore defensive end Eze Obiora (The Harrow Academy, London).

Second-team members are sophomore defensive end Gary Combs (Washington Massilon High School, Ohio), sophomore defensive back Deshon Conley (Proviso West High School), freshman offensive lineman Darius Jones (Simeon High School), sophomore wide receiver James Kurtz (Wheeling High School), sophomore linebacker Brian Rodgers (Proviso West High School) and sophomore running back Bryant Venson (Glenbard West High School).
