Top 10 State-By-State 'Courses You Can Play' ranking in Golfweek Magazine's March issue.

Sharing the spotlight with venerable Illinois courses including Cog Hill's Dubsdread,

"We're thrilled to receive one of the most revered recognitions a golf course in the United States can receive," said Stonewall Director of Golf Jeff Pajula. "With an abundance of wildlife, so many mature pine trees, oak trees and a golf experience that offers a secluded setting, our course gives guests the feel that it's been around for decades. New for 2016 is a short game practice area and GPS-equipped golf carts."

Stonewall Orchard was the first Arthur Hills-design golf course in Chicago. Playing through heavily wooded, mature forests, the course features natural, rolling landscapes throughout its magnificent 18-hole Lake County layout. The course also features an abundance of tranquil wetlands and wildlife.

From the 4,968-yard junior short course to the 7,074-yard, par 72 championship layout, each hole provides its own identity, completely immersing the golfing public into nature.
