Dundee-Crown d. McHenry: The Chargers won their first Fox Valley Conference Valley Division match of the season, 25-21, 25-14. Steph Magsamen had 6 kills, 8 digs and 2 aces, while Sam Pagano added 4 kills and 3 blocks for Dundee-Crown (6-9, 1-6). Jillian Hostetler *4 kills), Emily Michalski (3 kills), Payton De Luga (3 kills, 5 digs), Cori Eischen (15 assists, 5 aces) and Franki Scarpelli (4 digs) also contributed for the Chargers.

Prairie Ridge d. Huntley: Rachel Shores had 8 digs, Elish Reagan 6 digs, Emily Westermeyer 4 digs and an ace and Kelsey DeWulf 6 digs for Huntley (6-9, 2-5) in an FVC Valley loss.

Grayslake Central d. Hampshire: Jen Dumoulin had 5 kills and 6 digs to lead Hampshire in a 25-21, 25-23 FVC Fox loss. Arianna Romninski added 9 kills, Julianna Gass had 13 digs and Brittany Laffin added 6 digs for the Whip-Purs.

Geneva d. Bartlett: Katie Hrbacek had 6 digs for Bartlett (4-16) in a 25-15, 25-9 Upstate Eight crossover loss.

Harvest Christian d. Elgin: Sydney Doby had 6 kills, 7 blocks and 2 aces and Jordan Sollars added 12 kills and 6 assists to lead Harvest to a 25-15, 25-16 nonconference win. Erica Manusos (8 kills) and Katelyn Floys (12 assists) also contributed for the Lions (16-3). Hope Demel (6 assists, 2 kills, 3 digs), Maggie Powers (3 kills), Kristin Tayag (7 assists), Jackie Shioli (4 kills), Taylor Hedl (3 aces, 4 digs) and Abhy Pierre-Louis (4 kills, 2 blocks) led Elgin (1-21-2).

Westminster Christian d. Somonauk: Cara Tyrell had 9 kills, 8 digs and 2 aces and Claire Speweik added 8 kills, 3 aces and 2 blocks to lead Westminster to a nonconference win. Elizabeth Farwell (13 assists, 11 digs), Cassidy Finnegan (16 digs), Savannah Dutcher (8 kills) and Emma Kovachevich (11 digs, 3 aces, 5 assists) also contributed for the Warriors (14-5).
