The Larkin girls volleyball team moved to 3-0 on the season Thursday night with a 25-15, 18-25, 25-20 Upstate Eight crossover win over Bartlett.

Olivia Kofie had a big night for the Royals with 14 kills, 4 blocks, 9 digs and an ace. Brianna Stewart added 7 kills, 3 blocks and 7 digs, Amelia Gill had 6 aces and 12 digs and Alyssa McGhee dished out 16 assists.

Haley Hasenstein had 5 kills and 4 aces for the Hawks (0-5) with Rachel Hartford and Cara Carrion added 8 digs each.

Cary-Grove d. Grayslake North: The Trojans opened the season with a 25-17, 25-15 Fox Valley crossover win behind 8 blocks and 5 aces from Alex Larsen. Jess Bartczyszn dished out 32 assists and Abby Schebel had 4 kills.

St. Charles North d. South Elgin: Amanda Nadler, Allison Osborne and Bri Reum each had 4 kills to lead South Elgin in its 25-16, 25-16 Upstate Eight crossover loss. Ashley Oandasan had 6 digs for the Storm.

Lake Park d. Elgin: Hope Demel had 7 kills and 3 assists in Elgin's 25-23, 26-24 Upstate Eight crossover loss. Abby Pierce-Louis added 3 blocks for the Maroons (1-2).

CL South d. Woodstock: Carly Nolan had 7 kills and Nicole Jurkash 10 digs to lead the Gators (5-2) to a 25-10, 25-4 FVC crossover win. Kylie Portera served 4 aces for Crystal Lake South.

Jacobs d. Johnsburg: Alyssa Ehrhardt had 13 kills and Maris Smith added 10 kills and 9 digs as Jacobs held off Johnsburg 25-18, 17-25, 25-17 in an FVC crossover. Taylor Lauder had 19 assists and Mackie Traub added 13 for the Golden Eagles (2-0). Katie Mahoney had 4 blocks and Jenna Bilgrien added 6 kills.

Huntley d. Grayslake Central: Emily Westermeyer had 10 kills and Erin Erb added 9 as the Red Raiders win this FVC crossover 25-11, 25-14. Westermeyer and Rachel Shores each had 8 digs for Huntley (3-4) and Kelsey DeWulf added 20 assists and 7 service points.

Burlington Central d. Rock Falls: Allie O'Reilly had 25 digs and was 12 of 13 on serve receive and Laura Wiltsie added 13 kills and 10 digs as BC outlasted Rock Falls 25-17, 20-25, 25-19 in a Big Northern crossover at Rock Falls. Lexie Bouza had 6 kills and 13 digs for the Rockets (2-1), while McKenna Jensen added 5 kills and Jenna Schudel had 6 kills and 9 digs. Jess Emrich dished out 25 assists for BC, which had 72 total digs in the match.

McHenry d. Hampshire: Jen Dumoulin had 10 kills and Julianna Gass 23 digs but Hampshire fell in this FVC crossover 17-25, 25-13, 25-22. Brittany Laffin added 15 assists and 18 digs for the Whip-Purs.

Harvest Christian d. Alden-Hebron: Katelyn Floyd had 3 aces, 11 assists and 7 digs and Erica Manusos added 5 kills and 5 aces to lead the Lions to a Northeast Athletic Conference win. Jordan Sollars added 9 aces, 3 kills and 4 digs for Harvest Christian.

Westminster Christian d. Rockford Christian Life: Claire Speweik had 12 kills, Savannah Dutcher added 8 and Cassidy Finnegan had 13 digs as the Warriors won in the NAC 13-25, 25-16, 25-14. Cara Tyrell added 6 aces, 6 kills and 13 digs for Westminster (4-0, 1-0), Christian Cusumano had 5 kills and Elizabeth Farwell 13 assists.
