DuPage Children's Museum names new board member

DuPage Children's Museum in Naperville has welcomed April A. Otterberg to the board.

The nonprofit organization at 301 N. Washington St. nurtures joyful discovery and learning. The museum's strong and committed board of directors provides guidance and strategy to advance the organization's social mission by expanding access to extraordinary STEAM learning experiences for every child.

Otterberg is a partner at Jenner & Block LLP and co-chair of the firm's law firms and professional services practice. Otterberg has a broad complex business litigation practice but focuses on representing leading law firms and professional services firms in some of their most challenging professional liability disputes. She also has devoted thousands of hours to pro bono legal work, concentrating on representing indigent clients and non-profit organizations. She has held leadership positions with several bar associations, speaks on professional topics regularly, and is a longtime participant in Jenner & Block's associate mentoring program and its Women's Forum affinity group. Otterberg received her bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago and her law degree from Boston College, both summa cum laude.

Proud mother of two, Otterberg understands the importance of the museum's mission.
