Lovell Federal Health Care Center to host town hall by phone June 3

All are invited to participate in the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center's next Community Tele-Town Hall from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 3.

Healthcare concerns about COVID-19 coronavirus will be a topic. Additionally, the town hall is an opportunity to learn about Department of Veterans Affairs and TRICARE health care programs and services, and to participate in an interactive question and answer session led by Lovell FHCC Director Dr. Robert Buckley and Deputy Director/Commanding Officer Captain Gregory Thier.

The tele-town hall is done in a format akin to a radio talk show. Participants who provide a phone number will receive an automated call prior to the start of the town hall asking them to join.

They will then have the chance to ask questions to a screener and be placed in the queue to potentially voice their questions in front of the live audience.

Participants who can't listen to the entire call may leave voice mails with their questions. Questions left on voice mail during and after the call will be answered.

Register by noon Tuesday, June 2, by emailing your name and the phone number at which you want to be called to fhcc.feedback@va.gov.

Lovell Federal Health Care Center is the nation's only fully integrated Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense medical facility.

Lovell FHCC serves veterans alongside active duty military personnel and their families at its main hospital in North Chicago. Lovell FHCC also operates outpatient clinics for in McHenry and Evanston, as well as Kenosha, Wisconsin, and four Naval Station Great Lakes clinics.
