Lego enthusiasts can enjoy many special events throughout the weekend. On Saturday at 10 a.m. enjoy SUMO, an autonomous LEGO robot sumo wars fought on a round surface. The last robot in the ring wins each match. On Sunday, June 16 at noon, see the meanest, nastiest LEGO robots ever created, at Battle Bots. It's a battle for outright domination. This isn't your average Sumo contest. Damage to the robots and LEGO elements is anticipated and encouraged. Finally, throughout the weekend enjoy Great Ball Contraption. Watch a giant modular machine made of several connecting smaller modules constructed to move LEGO soccer balls around a loop. The modules are contributed by many talented creative designers, constantly inventing new ways to move the soccer balls from one spot to another. You can count the modules, follow a ball around the loop, and assist with moving some of the balls with an RC bulldozer - or simply observe and be mesmerized by the constant motion!
