The 6 p.m. Family Service will be led by Steve Cooper, director of religious education, and feature family-friendly stories, music and electric candle lighting to the song "Silent Night."

Enjoy Soup Supper between the services, hosted by the Fellowship Committee.

The 8 p.m. Candlelight service by Rev. Tom Capo features readings, music, and hymns exploring mystery in the meaning of Christmas. This service will offer time for contemplation and reflection, closing with candle lighting and singing "Silent Night" together.

On Sunday, Dec. 30, the Fire Communion will be at 11:15 a.m. only service. In the annual Fire Communion ritual, they will consider how the church community nurtures understanding among people with diverse perspectives. Unitarian Universalists accept people with diverse philosophies, but how often do we discuss these philosophies with each other? When the fire of love, hope, and commitment brings together individuals who don't always agree, how can we grow stronger through our differences?
