Beloved Barrington Sandwich Shop Owner Remembered With 'The Best Of Boloney's Sandwich Shop' Recipe e-Book

BARRINGTON, IL (APRIL 27, 2020) - For 35 years, Roberta Rapata served heaping plates containing flavorful, creatively-assembled sandwiches to visitors of the downtown Barrington sandwich shop she owned with her work and life partner Tim O'Connor.

Now, four years after Roberta's untimely passing, and three years since Boloney's served its last meal, comes the opportunity to relive (and re-taste) the greatness that was Boloney's Sandwich Shop.

O'Connor has compiled Roberta's recipes for sandwiches and salads in an e-book that can be ordered and downloaded from Best of Boloney's website. https://my-site-103862-104981.square.site

"This was an idea that Roberta and I talked about but we were always too busy to do it," O'Connor said.

"Now that so many of us are spending more time than ever at home, making our own meals, it seemed like the perfect time to make Roberta's recipes available to the people who loved Boloney's."

According to O'Connor, there are recipes for 19 of Boloney's 'combination sandwiches' along with three salads, including Roberta's "World Famous Turkey Salad."

"Boloney's was a labor of love for Roberta and her sandwiches reflected that. She wanted everyone who visited Boloney's to feel they had gotten a great meal. No one ever complained about the portions or the quality," he said.

"Whether you're an area resident or a past Boloney's visitor who now lives far away, you can once again enjoy being served by Roberta. She was always proud of her work and, as the title says, this is her best," O'Connor said.

The Best of Boloney's Sandwich Shop e-book, which would make a great gift for Mother's Day, or any other gift giving occasion, can be purchased and downloaded at: https://<URL destination="http://my-site-103862-104981.square.site ">my-site-103862-104981.square.site
