COD hosts annual College Fair Oct. 18

College of DuPage and high schools in District 502 will host the 29th annual College Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the College's Physical Education Center Main Arena, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

The free event features representatives from more than 240 colleges, universities and military academies from across the country. Participating schools include traditional colleges and universities as well as vocational, art and music schools.

Representatives from each of these institutions and College of DuPage will be on hand to discuss various academic divisions with students and their parents.

The event includes financial aid presentations at 7 and 8 p.m. and a High School Student Assistance Center staffed by high school counselors to help students with general college information.

Students do not need to bring transcripts or test scores to attend.
