Health Dept. offers classes for parents with young kids

DUPAGE COUNTY—The DuPage County Health Department is offering helpful parenting classes this September for parents who are facing the challenges of raising children.

The classes include parenting ideas about discipline, setting routines and suggestions for parents on how to take care of themselves.

The three-session parenting classes are intended for parents of children ages one to four, and should be taken as a three-class series.

The classes are scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 13, Sept. 20 and Sept. 27 at the Health Department's Central Public Health Center, located at 111 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton.
