Alex Moss and Nick Krecji each had 2 hits. Glenbard East 11, West Chicago 2:Pat Walsh (2-1) struck out 11 in 5 innings for the Rams (5-8, 2-2) in their DuPage Valley Conference victory. Mike Dexl went 3-for-4 while Brian Kohn and Dan Ryan each drove in 2 runs. Dane Sauer, Hunter Serrato and Matt Zajac had 2 hits apiece for West Chicago (6-7, 1-3).Naperville Central 4, WW South 3:Jake DeVoy singled home the winning run for the Redhawks (10-4, 5-0 DuPage Valley Conference) in the bottom of the seventh inning and Ian Lewandowski improved to 5-0 on the mound. Parker Ryndak doubled home a run in the top of the sixth to give WW South (6-8, 2-3) a 3-1 lead, but Naperville Central answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the inning.Waubonsie Valley 7, Glenbard South 2:Waubonsie Valley (4-6) notched their fourth straight win behind a 5-run top of the sixth inning. Winning pitcher Mike Murphy and Eric Josupait combined for 5 hits and 4 RBI. Justin Joseph went 2-for-4 with a double for Glenbard South (7-7). Glenbard West 7, Addison Trail 5:Tom Alt had 2 hits and drove in 4 runs for the Hilltoppers (4-10). Ryan Kavanaugh was the winning pitcher.Willowbrook 5, York 2:The Warriors (9-4) burst to a 5-0 lead in the second inning of their West Suburban Conference crossover win. Tom Van Kooten improved to 2-1 on the mound while Conrad Keefe and Drew Kuenstler each had 2 hits.Downers South 3, Downers North 2:A run in the top of the fourth inning proved to be the difference for the Mustangs (9-5) in their cross-town win. Joe Rossi and Nick Tenerelli each drove in a run and Nick Rizner (2-1) was the winning pitcher. David Wilk went 2-for-3 with a double for Downers North (5-11).Fenton 10, Ridgewood 8:The Bison (6-8, 4-4) scored twice in the top of the seventh to pull out the Metro Suburban Conference road win.
