Golf outing to support NISRA, Fire Wagon Hockey

Enjoy a round of golf and camaraderie at Randall Oaks Golf Club in West Dundee to fund scholarships, equipment and innovative programs for two local organizations.

The Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association's programs for children and adults with disabilities and Fire Wagon Hockey's hockey programs for children will benefit.

The Spring Shootout on Thursday, May 25, will begin with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m., followed by 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch and refreshments on the course, prizes and dinner.

Cost is $125, $500 for a foursome, or $600 for a corporate golf package, which includes company name posted at one tee box, recognition in program booklet, and a foursome of golfers.

Nongolfers are welcome to attend the dinner only for $20.

Registration and payment are due Monday, May 15.

NISRA serves communities in McHenry County and parts of Cook, Lake and Kane counties. Programs are offered in all of the member communities at public and commercial recreation facilities. NISRA's administrative office is located at 285 Memorial Drive in Crystal Lake. The park districts and cities that form the NISRA cooperative and support the association's activities are: Barrington Park District, Cary Park District, Crystal Lake Park District, Dundee Township Park District, City of Elgin, Hampshire Township Park District, Huntley Park District, City of Harvard, Village of Lake in the Hills, Marengo Park District, City of McHenry, Wauconda Park District, and City of Woodstock.
