Philosophy Panel Discussion at COD: 'Persons and Their Bodies' April 13

The College of DuPage Philosophy department is hosting a free panel discussion "Persons and Their Bodies," on Wednesday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Health and Sciences Center (HSC), Room 1234.

Discussion items will include the question of how humans are uniquely and intimately related to their bodies. For example, how exactly should be understand this relationship? Are human persons identical to their bodies or some part of their body? Are persons or their minds distinct from their bodies? Is there a soul?

All are welcome to join in this discussion. Light refreshments will be served.

For more information, please contact Philosophy instructor Jonathan D. Parsons at parsonj@cod.edu.
