COD to host special screening of Iranian comedy 'Secret Ballot' April 20

The Middle East Committee at College of DuPage will host a special screening of the 2001 Iranian film "Secret Ballot" from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in the Health and Science Center, Room 1234, on the College's campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

This event is free and open to the public.

Directed by Babak Payami, "Secret Ballot" is a satirical comedy about a female election agent who is sent to a remote island to collect ballots in a national election. Receiving awards from five international film festivals, the film sheds light on the universal discrepancies in the political voting process and gender differences.
