College of DuPage to Host 'Visiting Artist Series' this Spring

The College of DuPage Fine Arts program, in collaboration with the Cleve Carney Art Gallery, is debuting its "Visiting Artist Series" this spring. Intended to enrich curriculum and enhance student experiences, the series will bring artists, designers and curators to McAninch Arts Center on the College's main campus.

All lectures are free and open to the public.

• Wednesday, Feb. 17, will feature artist and educator Claire Ashley, from noon to 1 p.m., in the McAninch Arts Center, Room 153.

• Thursday, March 10, will feature artist, educator, publisher and writer Steven Husby, from 11 a.m. to noon, in the McAninch Arts Center, Room 153.

• Wednesday, March 30, will feature director and curator of the Department of Exhibitions, Performance and Student Spaces at Columbia College Neysa Page-Lieberman, from 11 a.m. to noon, in the McAninch Arts Center, Room 205.

• Wednesday, April 20, will feature artist, educator, curator, writer and publisher Brandon Alvendia, from 11 a.m. to noon, in the McAninch Arts Center, Room 153.
