Japanese Students Visit COD Dental Hygiene Program

Eight dental hygiene students from Tokiwa College in Japan recently toured the Dental Hygiene program facilities at College of DuPage. While the students were at the College, they took a tour of the College's state-of-the-art dental lab and professional clinic, viewed a presentation about the program, and visited Follett's Bookstore.

"Every year, Dental Hygiene students from Japan come to the U.S. and they've said that one of their favorite stops is College of DuPage and the Dental Hygiene program," said Dental Hygiene program Coordinator Lori Drummer. "I find great joy in watching the universal language of dentistry bring COD students and the students from Tokiwa College together, as well as seeing our students network with and exchange contact information with these future dental hygienists."

The Dental Hygiene program, accredited by the Commission of the American Dental Association, offers an A.A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene as well as the innovative 3+1 Bachelor's in Healthcare

Management degree program with Concordia University.
