AOIIs to be 'Cruising for Murder' at Schaumburg party on Jan. 14

At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, Alpha Omicron Pi members will be "Cruising for Murder" as they gather in Schaumburg for their annual Murder Mystery Party.

This time they're attending the Captain's Cocktail Reception aboard their ship, Mystery of the Seas. Romance, intrigue, secrets heighten the tension as they realize they are trapped at sea with a villain hidden among the guests or crew.

Hostess Sue Dunmead invites you to Schaumburg, for an evening of fun. Helping her is Nancy Brown of Deer Park as well as Carol Stephens of Schaumburg. If you are an AOII and would like to join for the party, call Diane Pellettiere, (847) 934-4161.

Another January event is Afternoon Tea at the Pinecone Cottage Tea House, in Downers Grove on Sunday, Jan. 18. If you'd like to attend, call Diane at (847) 934-4161.

At the December AOII meeting in Inverness, a surprise candle-lighting ceremony revealed the engagement of Stephanie Mete of Lake Zurich to Alan Speltzer. It's always a joy to find out good news in such a special way.
