The Naperville Woman's Club's 55th Juried Fine Art Fair will take place July 12-13, 2014 at Naper Settlement, located in Naperville's thriving downtown area. Hours are 10 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

This is a juried event, with artists exhibiting work in a variety of media. The event attracts several thousand people from Naperville and the surrounding area, and is known as a highlight of summer activities in Naperville. Artists have a unique opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a beautiful setting, as well as enjoying the chance to network with other artists during the event and the Saturday evening Artists' Reception.

Booth fees for the weekend are $275. Artists will be notified of acceptance by April 1, 2014. Applications require four photos of original art and one booth shot.

This event is the NWC's largest fundraiser, and includes a Silent Auction, Empty Bowls fundraiser, entertainment, food, and a Petite Picasso Area for children. Proceeds benefit and support the club's mission areas of art, education and community service.

Background: The Naperville Woman's Club is a philanthropic organization devoted to supporting the arts, education and community service. Established in 1897, it is one of the longest established organizations in Naperville. The club's headquarters are in the landmark building, The Old Stone Church, at 14 S. Washington Street in downtown Naperville. The NWC each year puts on the Juried Fine Art Fair at Naper Settlement, a fall fashion show, the Young Adult Art Contest, and several other fund-raising events. New members and guests are welcome to attend NWC meetings. In addition, the clubhouse is available for rentals for private events.
