ECC College Smart Fair to be held Nov. 9

Elgin Community College will host its annual College Smart Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 9, in Building E on the college's Spartan Drive Campus, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

The fair will provide useful information for parents and middle school students, high school students through their junior year, high school seniors preparing for college, and returning college students. Various sessions include, financial aid basics, applying for scholarships and how to pay for college.

Participants will hear from ECC's financial aid experts about how to successfully manage financial obligations and how to manage stress while paying for a child's education. Also, several sessions will be available in Spanish.
