South Elgin 8, Streamwood 5: Alyssa Buddle (3-for-4) hit 2 home runs and Sam Helton (2-for-3, 2 RBI) added a round-tripper to lead South Elgin in the Upstate Eight. Cassidy Westlund, Victoria Watt, Paige Allen (2 RBI) and Mallory Mecklenburg added doubles for the Storm (10-5, 6-1) and Katie Koss picked up the pitching win. Holly Foret was 3-for-4 with a double and Kylie Jambor had 2 doubles and 2 RBI for Streamwood (1-10, 1-6).

Dundee-Crown 3, Woodstock 2: Mandy Moore and Mallory Schilf each had 2 hits and Amanda Eissler pitched a 3-hitter with 4 strikeouts and no walks to lead the Chargers (2-6) to a Fox Valley Conference crossover win.

Burlington Central 14, North Boone 0: Emily Kisch threw a five-inning 1-hitter and Brooke Gaylord was 4-for-4 with 2 doubles as the Rockets (14-1, 6-0) won their 11th straight in this Big Northern East game. Kisch got all 15 outs via the strikeout and only one walk kept her from a perfect game. Courtni Neubauer was 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBI for BC.

Alden-Hebron 12, Westminster Christian 1: Jackie Calabrese drove in the Warriors’ run in this Northeast Athletic Conference loss. Rachel Fugiel was the losing pitcher for Westminster (4-4, 2-1).

Huntley 12, Woodstock North 4: Megan Baczewski was 3-for-5 with 2 home runs and 3 RBI, Taylor Funke went 2-for-3 with a home run and 2 RBI and Katelyn Behrens was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI as Huntley won this FVC crossover. Ashley Laxner was the winning pitcher for the Red Raiders (10-5).

Jacobs 8, Hampshire 6: Alyssa Lach went 2-for-3 with a home run and Jacquelyn Hengler was 2-for-4 with a double and a triple to lead the Golden Eagles to an FVC crossover victory. Courtney Cotugno also had 2 hits for Jacobs (8-5) and Kelsey Peters (8-4) was the winning pitcher. Sara Finn was 3-for-4 and Ellie Lapi and losing pitcher Jen Hurst had doubles for Hampshire (3-11.

Geneva 14, Larkin 0: Jaclyn Saurbaugh suffered the loss for Larkin (1-13, 1-8) in the Upstate Eight River.

Grayslake North 3, Cary-Grove 1: Erin Olson was 2-for-3 for Cary-Grove, which lost its first game of the season in this FVC crossover. Lauren Stanley (2-1) was the losing pitcher for the Trojans (12-1).
